Dear Parents, Teachers, Students,

We have ushered in a new academic year with great anticipation for higher achievements for our children in learning the Italian language.
Our School represents a great asset for the children within the Italian community.
The School relies fully on the voluntary contributions of members of the Italian community in Singapore.
We welcome support and encouragement from all members of our community to maintain standards and to improve these as we go on.
Some of you may know that the Italian Supplementary School in Singapore started back in 1978 with the initiative of a group of parents and teachers who felt that the Italian children could benefit from a more structured learning of their mother tongue and culture.
In the past thirty years the school has been instrumental in educating over 1,000 students, purely relying on the voluntary contributions of the parents and teachers who have selflessly helped run the school.
Our heartfelt thanks go to all who have believed in and supported the school throughout these years and who continue to contribute to its welfare and success.
May I invite you to join me in thanking Mrs Giovanna Dini, our Principal, Mrs Laura Spalvieri, our Treasurer and Administrator, whose efforts are supported by our team of teachers and with invaluable help from our Committee Members who work enthusiastically to ensure dynamic management of the school.
Our thanks also go to our Sponsors and in particular to our Parents, whose moral and economic support contribute to the existence of the School.
