OBJECTIVE:
To help students who do not speak nor understand Italian fluently, to
improve their language skills.
MEANS:
The teacher will follow the guidelines set out in the textbook adopted
for the academic year 201--2011.
The
textbook is divided into: teaching units, each one covering the following
aspects:
1.
Dialogue
2. Use of dialogue
3. Consolidation of the linguistic material and application to other
situations
4. Grammar and vocabulary notes
5. Exercises
6. Versification of achieved results
Each
teaching unit deals with a different situation and examines most grammar
topics of the language (verbs, pronunciation, etc)
The
textbook will be integrated with other reading materials from various
sources (including Italian magazines, videos, and tapes).
Time
will be dedicated to reading aloud in order to correct and improve the
pronunciation of each student.
During
lessons, discussion in Italian will be stimulated and motivated in order
to improve the speaking and expression’s abilities.
