The Teachers and the Textbooks
Our
Teachers are all Italian qualified university graduates. They use the
school’s own teaching methods, fruit of many years of experience.
The textbooks are purchased in Italy and in compliance with the Ministry
of Education’s guidelines or have been adapted for foreigners.
During the courses equal importance is given to grammar, conversation,
general studies, history and geography (in the secondary stream).
At the end of the courses, the student will receive an attendance certificate
recognized by the Italian Government.
The School is run by a Committee selected and voted among parents, a
Director and a President.
The Italian Ambassador is the Honorary President.
Extra-Curricular
Activities
The School organizes screenings of films in Italian language oriented
towards a better knowledge of Italy, its art, culture and people. From
time to time, seminars, and guided tours to interesting places in Singapore
are also organized to give children a good and better image of our host
country.
